Holly Leeann Flores Arrested After Northlake Stabbing
A 37-year-old Northlake, Texas, woman identified as Holly Leeann Flores is facing serious criminal charges after police said her husband and two young children were stabbed inside their Denton County home early Tuesday morning.
According to the Northlake Police Department, officers were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive at approximately 4:20 a.m. on October 6 after a man called 911 and reported that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him. Officers arrived within minutes and detained an adult woman, later identified as Flores.
The case has drawn significant attention across North Texas because the alleged victims included a 3-year-old girl and a 10-month-old boy.
What happened inside the Northlake home?
Police said Flores’ 34-year-old husband suffered a stab wound to the head. During a protective sweep of the home, officers discovered the couple’s two young children in another area of the residence.
The children had suffered stab wounds to their chests, according to authorities. Emergency responders transported the husband and both children to a Fort Worth-area hospital for treatment.
Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford said the children’s injuries did not initially appear to be life-threatening. Authorities said the children were expected to survive, while the husband’s injuries were also described as non-life-threatening.

Police said she faces two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Husband reportedly called 911

Chief Crawford said the husband appeared to be trying to reach the children while the alleged attack was taking place. According to the police account, he ultimately had to retreat outside while trying to get away from the alleged attack.
Officers arrived shortly afterward and detained Flores. During their search of the residence, they discovered the injured children and immediately began arranging medical assistance.
Police had previously visited the home

Chief Crawford said Northlake police officers had responded to the family’s home about five times since March 2026. Most of those previous calls involved welfare concerns.
