Pakistani model and actor Hania Aamir has called time on her silence over the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Hania is one of the hundreds of Pakistani content creators and celebrities whose Instagram and YouTube accounts were blocked by India.

Hania Aamir wrote: “In recent days, I have been spotted making a statement that was far from true and is being circulated widely on social media. I would like to inform you this directly. I made this statement not myself and I do not agree or agree with the words being linked to me. It is completely false and does not represent who I am and what I believe.
Hania Aamir said the terrorist attack which killed 26 people on April 22, 2025 “My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and to the families of the victims of this recent tragedy as pain such as this deserves understanding – not politicisation.
“In times like these, it’s easy to let emotions cloud our judgment, but we must remember: the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people. Assigning blame without proof only deepens divides and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice, and healing”.
She also asked her fans to verify information posted online and news she had learned. “I ask my fans to check the facts first before posting anything online and to be kind and respectful of those affected by this tragedy. Let us honor those whose lives are lost by reaching out with empathy, truth and friendship. .
