Actress Janhvi Kapoor, whose latest film, Ullaaz, released in theaters on Friday, attended the premiere of the film on Thursday evening. The guest list includes many important members of the industry including veteran actress Rekha. Wearing her trademark silk saree, Rekha looked stunning as she walked the red carpet. He kissed a giant poster of Janhvi Kapoor and proceeded to pose for photographers.
She also joined Janhvi for some photo-ops. Both hugged each other and Rekha kissed her head. Fans appreciated Rekha for supporting Janhvi in her film screening. One of them called Rekha Janhvi “ma” and wrote, “Rekha ji and Sridevi ji were good friends so it was natural for Rekha ji to come forward as Janhvi’s aunt.” Another fan wrote, “Wish Mr. Madam was here too.”
Janhvi’s family members were also present at the screening to support her. Her father Boney Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor, and half-brother Arjun Kapoor were also clicked at the red carpet along with producer Karan Johar.
After Ulaj, Janhvi will be seen in Devraa with Jr NTR and Sunny Leone’s Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan.
According to a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, Ulaj sold less than 750 tickets in the advance sale, which was even worse than Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starrer Auryon Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which managed to sell only 1000 tickets. Just a few months ago, Janhvi was seen in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, in which she worked opposite Rajkummar Rao. The film grossed Rs. 6.85 crore and earned Rs. 36.28 crore in its lifetime run.
